Gardens in the Gap

Gardens in The Gap is an annual springtime celebration of the Hillsboro area’s formal, rustic and historic gardens and The Gap’s 250-year heritage as the center of a robust and bountiful agriculture region. Garden tours, lectures and presentations, high teas, plant and gardening demonstrations and an arts and crafts festival, along with locally sourced foods and beverages, offers visitors and area residents a weekend of activities.

The 2022 event celebrated the edible garden and paid tribute to the “farm-to-table” movement, featuring and Eat, Drink & Be Literary! evening event featuring farm-to-table pioneer Nora Pouillon.

An evening with Nora Pouillon
Farm-to-table pioneer Nora Pouillon, author of, My Organic Life and Cooking with Nora, was the owner of Restaurant Nora, the first certified organic restaurant in the United States.

  • Ticketed event $15 in advance $20 at the door
  • Doors open at 6 p.m.
  • Presentation begins at 7p.m.
